Chett Peters has been a lifelong resident of Tuscarawas County, currently living in the Uhrichsville and Dennison area with his wife Bethanie and their two children, son Lane and daughter Sage. He is a 1995 graduate of Ohio Northern University where he received a Bachelors degree in Industrial Technology. He also graduated from Wheeling Jesuit University in 2012 with a Masters degree in Education Administration and attended Hondros College for Real Estate.
He grew up on a beef and horse farm where he learned great work ethics and working hand in hand with people.
He has been a school teacher for 22 years at Claymont High School, where he teaches Industrial Technology. He has thoroughly enjoyed serving and helping others grow. Chett has also served as a Mill Township trustee since 2005.
